Apartments - Nordkappferie

Nordkappferie has three apartments for rent in a maritime environment. All three apartments are beautifully located, with a spectacular view over the famous Gjesværstappan bird mountains. The area also has excellent sun-conditions, and is, along with the Nordkapp-plateau, the only location on the island where you can observe the midnight sun throughout the night during the summer.

Here, you can live in the center of a thriving fishing village, and have an excellent point of departure for experiencing Nordkapp as well as other parts of the island. Our guests can also freely use our barbecue-cabin for get-togethers or cooking, or simply to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax by the fire.
In Olaibua we can offer a restaurant and meeting facilities. Upon request, we can arrange dinnerparties, meetings, pub-nights and other events.

Apartment with jacuzzi and seaview

Treat yourself to a stay in this apartment that offers sauna, jacuzzi and great views of the bird mountain Gjesværstappan.

The apartment is a part of the boathouse Olaibua, which was built in 1949. It has previously been used in connection with the family’s fishing business, and parts of the building are still being used for that purpose. The history of the coast and the fishing business lies not only in the surroundings, but in the building itself. We have put much emphasis on keeping the maritime atmosphere, and exhibit the story of coastal life through old artifacts and a photo exhibit that covers the period between year 1930 and 1970.

In our cosy house it is possible to rent a spacious four-bedroom apartment. When renovating the house, we have put much emphasis on preserving the authentic atmosphere and a nice, home-like style. We want our guests to feel at home.
